The phrase “Stronger Together” has never felt more relevant than during this time of uncertainty. Many foster parents have stepped up to ensure that children in their care continue to thrive no matter the circumstances.
This week’s foster parent hero is Sara from South Florida, who continues to provide a stable loving home to children during the coronavirus pandemic.
Sara is amazing and has always been willing to step up to help youth. She has cared for newborns, teens, and siblings during her time as a foster parent and always remains committed to her kids and their needs.
Cayuga Centers provides Sara with daily check-in calls. The youth in Sara’s home also receive Clinical services from the Cayuga team, and they all attend support groups – even during the pandemic, online.
